Back in 2012 when Emma Stone was blasting to super-stardom, she made a cameo appearance on iCarly as a crazed “super-fan” in Season 6, Episode 10 titled, “IFind Spencer Friends.”

In this episode, Carly and Freddie type up a list of people to invite to Spencer's birthday, but realize the only people who would attend is the gang. When Spencer returns home from playing tennis with a friend who they discover is in the third grade, Carly and Sam set out on a mission to find Spencer new friends his own age.

After gathering three new potential friends for Spencer who they found at The Groovy Smoothie and Hey Foods Supermarket,  Carly and Sam arrange for the gang and the new friends to meet up at Fiddy's Dinner. Calamity ensues with Spencer thinking the new guys are "boring and mean."

Making a hilarious entrance as "Heather, the star-struck super-fan,"  Emma runs through the restaurant to the bathroom (taking selfies with her pear phone along the way) and straight into Gibby, overwhelmed by seeing the iCarly team live.  In the end, Carly, Sam, Freddie, and Gibby celebrate Spencer's birthday with a giant candle-topped spaghetti taco—but not before Spencer decides they must first play Jamaican Laser Tag.

While promoting her upcoming film at the time, The Amazing Spider-Man, on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Emma shared she had just made a guest appearance on iCarly.

"iCarly is truly my favorite show,” Emma excitedly told Jay.  “Genuinely. I’ve seen pretty much every episode." The Oscar-winning actress continued. "I’ve met many, many people, adults and kids alike, that love this show. The cast is insanely amazing. The creator Dan Schneider did All That and The Amanda Show and all those great shows from Nick."

How did her guest appearance happen?  "I had gone to the Mick Jagger SNL episode and I met Dan Schneider and the cast at the after-party, because they all went to see the show, and I told Dan that I was a giant fan of his…and he invited me to do a little part where I literally play a super fan of the show. I play a girl named Heather and I just go in and I go, literally, bat sh*t stuff crazy!"

Fun Fact: In 2016 during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Emma humorously recalls an open audition she attended at age 12 for All That, but was unaware that she had to prepare her own original characters for her audition.

"I thought they were going to give us sketches,” Emma said. “And then five minutes before I went in the room they said, ‘You need to have three characters when you come in the room.’ So I was like, ‘Okay,’ and then I made up a couple of characters."

When Dan heard this story, he quipped, "I'm not the one who didn't hire her."
